FileMaker
developers,
two decades deep.

We've built, rescued and run Claris FileMaker systems since 2006 — and we still do. Senior FileMaker developers, Platinum-partner standard, who can also see past the platform: when you're ready to look at what's next, we navigate that with you instead of selling you a rebuild. today 01

Keep FileMaker running well.

  • Support, fixes and new features for existing solutions — including systems whose developer has moved on.
  • FileMaker Server health, version upgrades, performance and security work.
  • FileMaker hosting on dedicated Australian servers — daily backups, fixed IP, SSL — or AWS / Claris Cloud.
  • Integrations: APIs, payment, accounting, barcode and hardware — wired into the system you already own.
when you're ready 02

An honest path forward.

  • Straight answers on when FileMaker is still the right tool — and when your growth, reach or scale points somewhere new.
  • Whole-solution migration to modern web and native platforms — one build, one rehearsed cut-over, FileMaker kept warm as the fallback.
  • The same senior team on both sides of the move, on call for the decade after.
//. nothing is lost

Your FileMaker is
the blueprint.

Twenty years of your business logic live in that solution — every field, script and workflow is a decision someone made about how your company actually runs. A migration that throws that away is a rewrite. Ours doesn't: we treat the FileMaker system as a working specification and build the next platform from it, while it keeps running.

Step 01 / 04

Audit.

We read the solution end to end — schema, scripts, layouts, integrations — and document what it actually does, not what the binder from 2011 says.

$ lm audit --solution=yours.fmp12
Step 02 / 04

Stabilise.

Anything fragile gets fixed first. FileMaker keeps serving the business at full strength — this is a foundation, not a deathbed.

$ lm stabilise --uptime=first
Step 03 / 04

Blueprint.

The schema, scripts and workflows become the specification for the new platform. Nothing your business learned in twenty years gets left behind.

$ lm blueprint --from=filemaker
Step 04 / 04

Move it whole.

The whole solution crosses in one rehearsed cut-over — every workflow, all the data. The new platform runs in parallel until you trust it, FileMaker stays warm as the fallback until you switch it off. Not two half-systems taped together for three years.

$ lm migrate --strategy=whole-solution
//. straight answers

FileMaker,
asked and answered.

Do you still take on FileMaker development work?

Yes. We are a Claris Platinum partner and have built and supported FileMaker systems for two decades. New features, fixes, performance work, integrations and version upgrades are all in scope — with no pressure to migrate.

Our FileMaker developer left. Can you take over an existing system?

Yes — this is one of the most common ways clients arrive. We audit the solution, document what it actually does, stabilise anything fragile, and take over support with a senior developer on the other end of the phone.

Do we have to migrate off FileMaker?

No. If FileMaker is serving the business, the right move is often to keep it healthy. Migration makes sense when licensing, platform limits or integration needs start costing more than they return — and we will tell you honestly which side of that line you're on.

If we do migrate, do we lose everything we built in FileMaker?

The opposite — your FileMaker system is the most valuable asset in the project. Its schema, scripts and workflows are a working specification of how your business actually runs, refined over years. We use it as the blueprint for the new platform, and your data comes across intact.

Does a migration mean a risky switchover?

One move, rehearsed. We migrate the whole solution — every workflow, all the data — and run the new platform in parallel until you trust it, with FileMaker kept warm as the fallback until you switch it off. The cut-over is a destination, not a limbo you live in. How a whole-solution migration works →

Do you offer FileMaker hosting in Australia?

Yes — dedicated Australian-hosted FileMaker servers with daily off-site backups, a fixed IP and SSL, plus AWS and Claris Cloud deployment where that fits better. Licensing comes with it: right-sized seats on the right licensing model, so you only pay for what you actually use.
